The Government Hindi Teachers’ Training Centre, Diphu was established in 1952 at Misamari, Nagaon, Assam. Later the Institute was shifted permanently to Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam in the year 1967 by the Government of Assam.

It is a matter of honour for me to serve as Superintendent of this esteemed institution having a glorious history. I am determined to fully utilized my entire potential and experience to enhance the standard of this Institution to an eminent centre of training for Hindi Teachers as well as propagation of Hindi towards national Unity & integrity. I am extremely proud of this institution functioning smoothly for imparting training for Hindi teachers under the flagship of SCERT, Assam & Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council. 
It is a matter of great pride for our institution that it become an important center of training specially for Hindi Teachers in our own district.
Further, I pray to God to give us vision and strength to grow and develop our institute into a leading centre of knowledge, learning & training. So that through our serious effort we can contribute our National Language & Nation.

Mission of H.T.T.C

  1. To train Hindi Language Teacher
  2. To encourage Teacher-trainee for correct pronunciation of Hindi Language and use of Hindi Grammar and Hindi Teaching method.
  3. Promotion of Hindi in the entire State of Assam through the training programme.
  4. To provide more facilities for Hindi teaching

Seminars & Workshop

H.T.TC Diphu Karbi Anglong, Assam organise various seminars & workshops on Hindi Language, literature, Language teaching at its centre.

Our Library

The library hall is located centrally in the institute main building. The library of the institute has one of the best collection of books on Hindi Language, Literature & learning. It has a collection of more than 4000 books, textbooks, general books, reference books, Language books, periodicals, journals, maps etc.
