About Us

The Government Hindi Teachers’ Training Centre, Diphu was established in 1952 at Misamari, Nagaon, Assam. Later the Institute was shifted permanently to Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam in the year 1967 by the Government of Assam. Since then the establishment is being under SCERT, Assam. Hence,  all the process of conducting Exam and training are controlled by SCERT, Assam. As per SCERT guidelines there were one year In-Service ‘Hindi Shikshan Praveen’ Course till 2012 and after 2014 the establishment has converted into two years In-Service ‘Hindi Shikshan Praveen’ course equivalent to D.El.Ed which ongoing for the session 2017-19 and 2019-21. At present total 50 deputed In-Service Hindi Teachers are deputed for the course at this Institution. The Institution has imparted a fruitful course and benefited to untrained Hindi teachers. Hence, the institute has produced quality teachers

HOSTEL

There are two Hostels facility -namely Kajir Girls Hostel and Thongnokbe Boys Hostel
